Keep On Rolling – Spend 5 to 10 minutes a day with a foam roller . . .

Whatever you do when you workout there’s going to be damage caused to the muscles and they need to recover.

If you don’t repair the damage your health, fitness, flexibility and progression will be limited and the chance of injury increases massively.

Unless you’re a professional athlete it’s unlikely you’ll have a sports massage therapist on hand, but there is an at home, easy and inexpensive alternative.

With warm muscles, so you don’t need to do this after exercise, spend 5 to 10 minutes a day with a foam roller, a massage ball, a massage roller stick or a combination of the three.

Being functionally fit and as free of muscle tension and knots as possible is one of the best ways to prevent injuries in the first place and buying one or all of these small roller devices makes complete sense even if you only exercise for fun.

There are rolling techniques for each and every muscle and in addition to instructions you get with a roller, there are videos on YouTube that make finding and performing the right exercises easy too.
