The vast amount of time, money and brainpower that’s in sport, healthcare, and business these days has resulted in a revolution in human performance that we can all access.
As top professionals in all fields look for any advantage they can get, they find out what works, what doesn’t. And this knowledge doesn’t stay with a chosen few, it’s shared with everybody and in record time – that’s why biohacking is one of if not the most exciting and effective ways to become better at virtually everything you do.
There are detailed explanations and resources on all things biohacking in this website, but as you’re new to hackbiohacking.com I felt it was important to clear up some questions you may have and get you excited by the opportunity to transform your energy, health, fitness, and many other things that biohacking positively impacts.
What is Biohacking?
It’s using a science-based, pro-active approach to radically improving your mind, body, energy levels and lifestyle in as short a time as possible.

And despite what people think, it’s actually very simple to do, works for everybody and needn’t cost a fortune either – in fact when done correctly, any time, money or effort you spend is probably delivering the best value you could ever hope to get, as it’s a positive investment in becoming your ideal self.
And by the way, you don’t need to give up everything you once thought was good or fun, and live like a saint – it’s not like that.
Biohacking should be a personal thing, allowing you to pick and choose what you do, how you do it and when you do it, according to your goals – it’s not about being perfect, it’s about being the best version of yourself.
Who wouldn’t want to be fitter, healthier, less stressed and anxious, more alert, able to sleep better, think more clearly, and be immune from or be able to rapidly recover from illness, whether that’s a simple cold or a more serious, life-threatening condition?
Unfortunately society wants you to be the way you are now, it doesn’t want you to change, to be different, to stand out, to be you – it suits society to treat everybody the same way, herd people like animals in the direction it wants, making everybody conform to the “average”; it suits the people selling products and services to average people too.
In today’s western society we’re continually exposed to things that are detrimental to our physical and mental health.
And it doesn’t help that we’re encouraged to take a “pill for an ill” – something that conforms to the mainstream medical profession’s idea of what’s right, despite only relieving symptoms. This approach isn’t treating the underlying causes, or better still, preventing the problems in the first place.
I’m not being political or confrontational, it’s not about money or social stereotyping and I think the scientific breakthroughs made in medical and biological research are incredible and they play a part in biohacking – all I’m saying is…
…I bet you never once thought when you were growing up, that one day you’d love to be average?
How to Biohack?
Biohacking addresses you as a unique, complex human being; it also addresses the environment you live in too, as this has a major impact on your health, fitness and general wellbeing.
This website will “hack” biohacking, sharing with you things you can easily do today and every day from now on, that can make significant, quantifiable improvements on a mind, body, energy, lifestyle and even emotional level.
Much of what you’ll discover here is very logical, even common sense, but these days it’s not common practice.
Other things we’ll share were, until recently, well-guarded secrets that only a few people knew about, but not anymore.
The major areas you can biohack, that are actually all inter-related include your:
• Mind – Focus, Creativity, Cognition, Memory, and Emotions
• Health, including body composition
• Nutrition, including chemical composition
• Functional Movement
• Fitness – Strength and Cardiovascular
• Recovery, including sleep
So What Can You Do Right Now?
Before you go and explore the rest of the website, here are three quick and easy steps you can do right now, to set yourself up for success.
This will also show you first hand, why successful biohacking isn’t all about supplements, exercise or using technology, which is a common misconception, and it’ll not cost you any money either.
So here goes…
Write down, and I mean write, with a pen or pencil and a piece of paper, any problems you have mentally or physically that you’d like to eliminate.
The reason you must write is that neuroscience has shown there’s a direct, positive link between writing down information and your brain that just doesn’t exist when you only think about things or even type things.
And be 100% honest with yourself as there’s no need to share this with anybody else unless you want to. Honesty at this stage will help enormously.
Write down what you want, not only about the problems you just wrote down but other things too. And don’t hold back, go wild because you can have it all, live an ideal life and alleviate or eliminate those problems – your future is in your hands.
So you know where you are now and where you want to be – that’s the first part done and it’s something very, very few people ever do or know, which, unsurprisingly, is why most people never get out of the mess they’re in.
And the last step here is to ask yourself “Why” you want these things – this is the “Hack” and will allow you to biohack more effectively, efficiently and with greater purpose.
By understanding “why” you want something, you’ll have much greater clarity with significantly increase emotion, determination, and energy at your disposal too – making things much easier (as with everything in life worth having, there will be times you’re challenged along the journey). Having the “why” makes a successful outcome significantly more likely, you might even go as far as to say inevitable.
So let me give you an example, to help:
Imagine one of the things you started with, as a problem, had been that you’re overweight, and you may have said you want to lose weight, but let’s get specific…
You could keep drilling into this and be specific about how much weight you want to lose and in what period, and that’s OK but it’s not a “Hack”.
Let’s be clear and get a “Hack” automatically working for you. Weight loss is not the goal, your “why” is, and you’ll probably have to ask “why” at least three times to get to the real honest answer, so in this case, an example could be:
I want to lose weight.
So I look and feel better.
Because I want more energy and I want people to see me differently.
Because I want to be there for my children for many years to come, see them grow up, see them have families of their own and enjoy that experience too.
And in the short term, be able to spend time with them and play outside with them without being out of breath.
I also want to prove to myself and others I can be the person I want to be – by doing that I’ll also be more self-confident.
So you can see from a very simple problem I can go on, stacking one emotional reason on top of another emotional reason.
The “why” in this example explains the benefits that create the want, not just need to lose weight, but it goes beyond that and shows the transformation goal, and that’s powerful, that’s a “Hack” – the transformation is the “hack”.
By really understanding and being clear about the emotional connection to change, you set yourself up for success.
And another “hack” for you is this – to quote Earl Nightingale, who’s got nothing to do with biohacking, he passed away back in 1989 and was involved in motivational speaker and wanted people to be motivated and have a meaningful existence, said:
“We become what we think about”
Success starts in the mind, which is where you need to start your biohacking journey too if you want to Hack Biohacking, and rather than survive, thrive.
